Nienhiser Chalks Up Another Win
August 18, 2007 - Hollingsworth Performance driver Paul Nienhiser chalks up another win at Pike County Speedway. Exciting action- racing wheel to wheel - then closing for the win. This is his third Stock Class feature win for 2007 at Pike Speedway.
ASCS Success
July 22, 2007 – Hollingsworth Performance performed strong yet again to sweep the podium at the recent ASCS event in Caney, OK. Ryan Duke again showed his prowess by capturing the feature event. HP drivers Billy Lawhead and Scott Sawyer rounded out the top 3 for yet another impressive ASCS performance.
Motley, Potts, and Sawyer
July 8, 2007 – This Saturday saw Joshua Potts have an impressive showing at Pike County Speedway to pick up his 2nd win of t he year in the restrictor class. Also, Hollingsworth Performance took 2 out of 3 podium positions in the ASCS race in Oklahoma. Scott Sawyer, driving for Rick Meyers in the machine normally piloted by Hollingsworth shoe Monte Frey, Jr., took the victory for an impressive HP win. Ryan Duke came home in the runner-up position.
Motley Finishes Strong
July 7, 2007 – This Friday evening, Austin Motley turned in an impressive performance at Pike County Speedway. Motley walked away with his 1st win of the year in the restrictor class.
Guyett Cleaning Up, H. Jones Doubles
June 23, 2007 – For now the third week in a row a Hollingsworth Performance pilot has earned his first victory in of the year in sweeping fashion. Ryan Guyett broke into the win column Saturday night by sweeping the evening’s events at Pike County Speedway in Pittsfield, IL.
In a case of keeping up with the Jones’, Hunter Jones dominated in Wichita Falls by taking both the non-wing and winged portions of the show in Wichita Falls. That victory marks the sixth of the year for the impressive HP pilot.
Jones, McDaniel, Fitzpatrick Reign
June 16, 2007 – Once again Randy Jones reigns supreme on a warm Saturday night. Jones snagged his fourth feature of the year and continues his excellent 2007 campaign. Much like Jeb Sessums the week before, Brad McDaniel earned his first feature victory of the year in impressive fashion by sweeping the multi class at SIR in Marion, IL. Finally, Braylon Fitzpatrick took his first victory of the year away from Linton, IN by winning in Charleston, IL. That marks Fitzpatrick’s sixth triumph of the year.
Sessums Sweeps, Ivy Impresses
June 9, 2007 – Saturday night Jeb Sessums towed his HP powered machine to Cowtown Speedway in Texas and swept the evening. It was an impressive run for Sessums as he grabbed his first feature of the year.
Hollingsworth Performance hot shoe Nick Ivy won his 5th straight race at I-30 Speedway Saturday night after passing Shelby Henson in lapped traffic. He finished the race with a straightaway lead on the quarter mile track. To complete Ivy’s impressive evening, he pulled the restrictor plate and tagged the rear of the Multi race. Ivy made a charge from last to end up third in that feature finishing behind Travis Senter and point leader Chad Pitts.
Gordon Bests the Big Boys
June 8, 2007 – Friday night at Bakersfield Raceway in Linton, IN saw the Indiana Micro Sprint Series come to town. The stout field of over 35 cars included some of the most prominent names in micro sprint racing. At the end of the night it was Hollingsworth Performance shoe Wesley Gordon walking away from the field to take the victory. The win moves Gordon into 1st place in the IMSS standings.
Randy Jones Rolls On
June 2, 2007 – Saturday night saw Hollingsworth Performance cruise to another victory by the right foot of Randy Jones. Jones grabbed his third non-wing feature at Southern Illinois Raceway in Marion, IL.
Indiana Boys
June 1, 2007 – Two Hollingsworth Performance drivers found victory lane on this night in Indiana. Braylon Fitzpatrick of West Terre Haute, IN towed over to Bakersfield Raceway Park in Linton, IN and took care of business. Fitzpatrick took the checkers in the restrictor feature to add his 5th feature victory of the year. Further north, Jonathan Hendrick added to Hollingsworth Performance’s impressive resume at Gas City by grabbing the win and adding his 4th win of the season.

Millikin, Jones Break Out the Brooms
May 26, 2007 – Memorial Day weekend proved successful for Hollingsworth Performance drivers throughout the country despite the numerous rain cancellations. In Oklahoma, Zac Millikin continued his success from last weekend by sweeping the entire evening at Port City Raceway against a stout field of drivers.
Jones maintained his stranglehold on non-wing competition this weekend. Jones traveled to Ft. Cobb, Oklahoma and raced at Dutton Speedway for their Memorial Day event and swept the non-wing class. Afterward, Jones noted, “The new Hollingsworth Performance carburetors performed flawlessly.”
Duke Victorious Again
May 25, 2007 – After a couple solid weekends in a row, Ryan Duke clinched another feature victory this past Friday evening at Will Rogers Raceway in Claremore, OK. The Hollingsworth Performance driver now has three victories this season and looks to be on pace for a half-dozen by season’s end.
Ivy Again, Millikin, Carey
May 19, 2007 – Nick Ivy is flirting with dominance in his Hollingsworth Powered machine. Ivy once again led the field to the checkered flag at I-30 Speedway in Little Rock, Arkansas, thus notching his 4th victory of this young season. Over in Oklahoma, HP shoe Zac Millikin notched his first victory of the season. Starting on the front row with fellow HP driver Ryan Duke, Millikin jumped to an early lead and never looked back. Millikin and Duke paced the field the entire race placing first and second respectively. Over on the left coast, Brandon Carey put his Hollingsworth Performance machine in victory lane at Delta Speedway in Stockton, CA. This marks the first victory this season for Carey.
McIntyre Shines in Linton
May 18, 2007 – Hollingsworth Performance continues its excellence at Bakersfield Raceway in Linton, IN. This past Friday night saw Wesley McIntyre of McCordsville, IN take the feature victory for his first win of the year.
Keeping Up With the Jones’
May 12, 2007 – So far this season, competitors have had a tough time keeping up with Randy Jones and Hunter Jones as both men are taking care of business. Randy Jones snatched another victory at SIR Raceway in Marion, IL in his HP powered machine. Down south, Hunter Jones continued his weekly dominance at Texoma Speedway in Wichita Falls, TX by sweeping the non-wing portion of the show. That makes four wins in eight starts for the Hollingsworth Performance shoe.
Checkers to Ivy, Wagoner,
and Hendrick Claims POWRI Win
May 12, 2005 – Once again a Hollingsworth Performance pilot has claimed victory in the increasingly difficult POWRI series. Over 50 600cc Outlaw Micro Sprints were on hand at Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, IN for the first time ever. Jonathan Hendrick wasted no time in claiming the feature win and was followed across the stripe by HP driver Willy Sylvester. Meanwhile in Arkansas, Nick Ivy was once again taking care of business at I-30 Speedway in Little Rock. Ivy is proving to be the driver to beat in the restrictor class as he notched his 4th feature victory of the year. Finally, Hollingsworth Performance would not be denied in Pittsfield, IL as Ben Wagoner claimed his second feature victory of the season at Pike County Speedway. For the second weekend in a row, HP drivers are victorious in three different states.
Continued Success at Kokomo
May 6, 2007 – Continuing on Ryan Langston’s success last year at Kokomo Speedway, Jonathan Hendrick took care of business and captured his second victory of the weekend Sunday evening. Hollingsworth Performance drivers continue to be strong at Kokomo Speedway and look to continue that success throughout the summer.
HP Drivers Prevail Thrice
May 5, 2007 – This Saturday evening saw three Hollingsworth Performance drivers claim victory in three different states. First, Jonathan Hendrick claimed a quality victory at Belle-Clair Speedway in Belleville, IL. Hendrick was followed across the stripe by two HP Drivers with Ryan Duke in the runner-up position (after traveling from Oklahoma following last night’s victory at Will Rogers Raceway) and Daniel Robinson in the show position.
Wesley Gordon, in the brightly-colored orange and white number 23 ¾ machine, claimed the checkered flag in the non-wing division at Miami County Speedway in Peru, IN. After the green flag dropped, Gordon and his Hollingsworth Performance powered machine checked-out on the rest of the field.
Finally, the rumble in the south was that of Nick Ivy taking the feature victory in the Restrictor class at I-30 Speedway in Little Rock, Arkansas. That marks the third victory of the year for the talented, young Hollingsworth Performance driver.
Duking It Out in Claremore
May 4, 2007 – For the second week in a row, Ryan Duke bested a stout field of cars on the clay of Will Rogers Raceway. That gives the Hollingsworth Performance powered driver two wins early into the 2007 campaign. It should be noted, following the race, the Duke’s loaded up to make the long haul to Belle-Clair Speedway in Belleville, IL for the Saturday night POWRI show.
Frey Victorious in Inaugural ASCS2 Event
April 29, 2007 – The newly rekindled American Small Car Series 2 (ASCS2) opened its season at Creek County Speedway this Sunday evening. The one-quarter mile clay oval promised fast and exciting racing, and it delivered with a Hollingsworth Performance driver coming out on top. After starting third and leading 14 of the 25 scheduled laps, HP pilot Scott Sawyer encountered problems while trying to pass a lapped car, thus ending his hopes of a victory. HP shoe Monte Frey, Jr. took over shortly thereafter and raced his way to his third feature victory in 2007.
Tale of Two Ryan’s
April 27, 2007 – Friday evening saw two Hollingsworth Performance drivers take victories. Ryan Langston of Greenfield, IN snagged his first victory of the season at Bakersfield Raceway Park in Linton, IN and will surely add more before the season concludes. On the same evening Ryan Duke of Claremore, OK claimed the checkers in the Multi class at Will Rogers Raceway, located in his own hometown. Duke grabbed the lead from fellow Hollingsworth Performance driver Scott Sawyer and never looked back. Congratulations to all three men on their performances this past weekend.
Hollingsworth Performance Cleans House
April 21, 2007 – This past Saturday evening saw two HP drivers sweep the evening at their respective tracks. Nick Ivy represented Hollingsworth Performance in the south by taking both heat and feature victories at I-30 Speedway in Little Rock, Arkansas. A bit further north, Ben Wagoner of Emden, IL managed to claim heat, dash, and feature victories en route to a clean sweep of Pike County Speedway in Pittsfield, Illinois. Congratulations to both racers.
Sylvester Perseveres on Spooky Night
April 13, 2007 – The thought of taking to the racetrack on Friday the 13th could cause one to shutter. Greenwood, Indiana native Willy Sylvester shunned superstition and powered his way to a victory at Bakersfield Raceway Park in Linton, IN. The Hollingsworth Performance powered PMP chassis was on rails most of the evening as Sylvester cruised to the win.
Schlosser Scorches Linton
April 6, 2007 – As an unexpectedly frigid weather pattern swooped in over Indiana, Hollingsworth Performance pilot Jacob Schlosser heated things up at Bakersfield Raceway in Linton, IN. Last Friday evening, the ten-year old up-and-comer from Terre Haute, IN showcased his iron right foot in the number 48 machine en route to a convincing feature victory in the Restrictor class. Look for more good things to come from yet another young talent in the Hollingsworth Performance stable.
Potts Untouchable in Stockton
March 31, 2007 – Eleven-year old Joshua Potts raced to victory at Delta Speedway in Stockton, California this past Saturday evening. Potts is a young, rising star in the Hollingsworth Performance stable and will be a superb shoe out in the West Coast for many years to come. In addition, Port City Raceway saw HP drivers Monte Frey, Jr. and Scott Sawyer finish second and third, respectively, in Saturday night’s Outlaw class action.
Frey On Fire
March 30, 2007 – This past Friday evening, Monte Frey, Jr. took another feature victory in the outlaw division at Port City Raceway in Tulsa, OK. Frey won the second heat of the evening prior to his feature triumph. He has started out very hot this season for Hollingsworth Performance and will look to keep up the momentum next weekend.

March 28, 2007 – After an experimental 2006 season, HollingsworthPerformance.com is ready for its first full season online. Unlike last season, the site will be updated weekly with results, feature winner totals, and product sales and information. This being the case, if you are a Hollingsworth Performance driver or owner, you will need to contact Troy by 5PM the Tuesday evening following your win. If your results are not received by this deadline, they will not make it on the site before the next weekend’s events. Hollingsworth Performance is looking forward to another strong year in 2007 and thanks all the drivers, owners, crew chiefs, parents, etc. that make HP racing so successful.

Will Rogers Raceway “Frey’d”
March 24, 2007 – This past Saturday evening the folks in Claremore, OK got quite a show as the Hollingsworth Performance powered machine of Monte Frey took the multi-class feature victory. Frey bested some fierce competition en route to his feature victory. HP driver Scott Sawyer came home in the 4th place position.
Hollingsworth Takes the Weekend
March 18, 2007 – After sweeping the top three positions in Saturday night’s event, the Hollingsworth Performance powered machine of Ryan Criswell took the feature event on the second day of the POWRI Winter Nationals Dean King Memorial. The win caps a strong winter season by HP powered machines whom captured four of the six DuQuoin POWRI events in addition to a feature win at the East Bay Winter Nationals in Tampa, FL.
Sweeping the Podium
March 17, 2007 – Hollingsworth Performance was well represented this weekend in DuQuoin, IL for the finale of the POWRI Winter Nationals series, dubbed the Dean King Memorial. Continuing the success from the 2006 outdoor season, Hollingsworth powered machines took the top three spots with Kevin Bayer taking the win. Bayer was followed to the checkered by HP powered drivers Scott Sawyer in the runner-up position and Blake Fitzpatrick in the show position.
Rainy Feature Wins
September 30th - Rain threatened several race tracks but those that waited it out were well rewarded with great nights of racing. US 24 Speedway saw Paige Polyak take what may have been her first feature win at US 24 Speedway. In addition Ryan Scobee his first career feature win at Bakersfield Raceway after waiting out 3 hours of track prep. Congrats to both!
Hollingsworth Performance Engines Victorious in Multiple Regions
July 22, 2006 – This weekend saw Hollingsworth Performance drivers take victories in three different regions in the country. Jonathan Hendrick took claimed the feature win at Pike County Speedway in Pittsfield, IL. Meanwhile, down in Tennessee, John Paynter raced to the checkers first in Clarksville. Finally, Ryan Bernal once again represented the left coast with a victory at Delta Speedway in California.
Hollingsworth Performance Engines Victorious at Gas City I-69 Speedway
July 21, 2006 – Ryan Langston made it two-for-two on the large Indiana tracks by taking the checkers at Gas City this weekend. That also makes it two-for-two for Hollingsworth Performance on the big horsepower tracks.

July 8, 2006 – Jonathan Hendrick had another solid weekend for Hollingsworth Performance Engines. Hendrick claimed the POWRI feature win in Belle Claire, IL.
Hollingsworth Performance Engines Wins at Kokomo
July 6, 2006 – Hollingsworth Performance took a prestigious victory at Kokomo Speedway this weekend. When the 600’s invaded Kokomo for the first time in a few years, it was Hollingsworth Performance Engine’s Ryan Langston emerging victorious. Congratulations to Ryan and his team.
Bishop Claims 1st Multi Victory
July 1, 2006 – This weekend Miles Bishop represented the West Coast contingent of Hollingsworth Performance by taking his first Multi class feature victory. Bishop claimed his checkers at Cora Speedway in Dixon, CA.
Langston & Bernal Take Home Wins
June 24, 2006 - Two Ryan’s had a great weekend for Hollingsworth Performance Engines. Ryan Langston took the win for the multi class in Clarksville, TN. On the same night, Ryan Bernal took a big win home at Ocean Speedway in Watsonville, CA. Bernal removed the restrictor plate to enter the Multi class and take the win; his first ever Multi class victory.
Hendrick & Nienhiser Capture The Checkers
June 17, 2006 - This weekend saw two more Hollingsworth Performance Engines powered machines take the checkered flag. In Pittsfield, IL at Pike County Speedway, Jonathan Hendrick claimed a convincing victory in the Multi class. Meanwhile, Paul Nienhiser was busy capturing the Restrictor class feature.
Hollingsworth Performance Engines Trifecta
June 16, 2006 - Three gentlemen grabbed the checkers for Hollingsworth Performance Engines today. Jonathan Hendrick took the honors at North Track Raceway in Lebanon, IN. Meanwhile, Wesley Gordon took his first career win with his Hollingsworth Performance powered machine. Finally, Brian Cox got it done at I-96 Speedway to finish the trifecta for Hollingsworth Performance Engines.
Hollingsworth Engines Rumble Into Gas City
June 9, 2006 - The micros invaded Gas City for the first time in many years and Hollingsworth Performance Engines came out on top with Brian Cox taking the victory. Elsewhere, Steve Tolin took a victory at Bakersfield Raceway in his season debut and Paige Polyak showed her muscle by beating out all other racers to the checkers after a spirited battle at Stateline Speedway in Edon, OH.
Paynter & Frye Victorious Over The Weekend

Once again John Paynter emerged victorious this weekend at Pike County Speedway in Pittsfield, IL. Moving further west, Monty Frye grabbed a victory in Port City, OK for Hollingsworth Performance Engines.
Daniel Robinson Takes The Checkers

This weekend saw HPE take a prestigious victory in the MARA event at Charlestown, IL. Daniel Robinson took the checkers in his Hollingsworth Performance Engines powered machine in convincing fashion.
Strong Start For 2006
May 4th, 2006 -
Hollingsworth Performance Racing Engines motored to a strong start in the opening weekend of 2006. Excellence in the micro racing world comes often for those powered by Troy Hollingsworth built motors, thus the early season success should not be a surprise.
This past weekend saw four separate winners from the Hollingsworth Performance stable. Friday evening Jonathan Hendrick took the checkers at Vermilion County Speedway in Danville, IL. VCS is in its first year of hosting 600cc sprint racing and Hendrick defeated a field of about a dozen cars handily.
Brian Cox took the victory at I-96 Speedway, also this past Friday, to get his season off to a strong start.
Two other winners on opening weekend were John Paynter at Pike County Speedway in Pittsfield, IL and Will Sylvester at Bakersfield Raceway in Linton, IN. Both gentlemen credited their Hollingsworth Performance power plants as a major factor in their early success.
